CNPRM fosters collaborative research in Canada and helps train research leaders for tomorrow.

About

Prior to the formation of CNPRM, the Canadian perinatal researchers had been meeting yearly for nearly 40 years as Western and Eastern groups, and in February 2014 they came together to form the Canadian National Perinatal Research Meeting that was first held in Banff. It was so successful that this new national format was adopted and has formed the basis for meetings ever since.

Every year since, the meeting has achieved excellent numbers of registrants and trainees. This is evidence of Canada’s vibrant and growing perinatal research community, and our immense contribution to perinatal research and our role in the global effort of supporting and maintaining maternal and child health and policy the group representatives.

CNPRM 2025 will be the 12th Annual Meeting of our national group.  The landscape of health research is changing. CNPRM and DOHaD Canada are joining forces with 2 other networks, ENRICH and CAMCCO, creating a consortium of symposia and bringing together perinatal and child health research networks across Canada in one common place. Our goal is to generate scientific, professional, and organizational leaders within and beyond the Health Research Enterprise.
